Mom-rocker Melissa Moey Levis celebrates the release of her upbeat Moeys Music Party CD with a gig at the Bank Street Bookstore. Levis, a former Off Broadway lyricist before her 4-year-old son morphed her into a kiddie musician (oh, how familiar that story is!), also teaches Moeys Music Party classes (plus other music classes) at several venues on the Upper East SideP.S. 158, York Avenue Preschool, Gymtime Rhythm & Glues. None other than Mayor Bloomberg plugs the CD: From the indomitable spirit of I Can Do It to the vibrant multilingual bonanza of Fiesta, your CD captures so much of whats great in New York City.
